Nimrod Allen III is an Iraq-Afghanistan US Marine & exemplary Independent candidate. He dedicated himself topublic service and has spent most of his adult life as such. Favoring common sense ideals & principles and collaboration from all sides, tempered with his belief the country runs best when it operates based on the Constitution, He seeks the office of United States Senate representing Wisconsin.
Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, He attended UW Milwaukee subsequently graduating from the University of Hawaii. Nimrod's love of country, commitment and leadership ultimately led him to enlist in the United States Marine Corps. His enlistment continued his family’s 3rd generation legacy of military service.
Decorated in both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, as he served his country he witnessed what he felt was the demise of common sense initiatives coupled with a growth of special interests and out-of-touch career politicians all of which threatened the future of the United States. It was a culmination of such events and his dedication to service which made him decide to run for US Senate. Believing most decisions in D.C. have little to do with the will of the American people, Nimrod founded the I.D.E.A. (Independent Democratic Enforcement Alliance) party. He is running as an Independent.
His service in the military has given him a unique perspective on what the Veteran community needs. From bringing Veteran owned services/products to market, to upholding America’s obligation to ensure military families are mentally, physically, emotionally and financially secure, whether deployed or at home, he shall provide the direction Washington needs to honor & uphold America’s commitment to veterans.
Capitalizing on his expertise in navigating Washington bureaucracy, as well as the relevance of small business access to capital he founded Wellen LLC; a consulting agency which specializes in bridging the gap between private contractors and the federal government.
Nimrod also recognizes the need for access to affordable healthy foods and is implementing the Wisconsin Initiative Foods (WI-Food) program, which focuses on the development and re-purposing of unused blighted urban/rural real estate to provide access to fresh healthy affordable food to communities which would otherwise have none. One of his approaches is to install veteran-friendly marketplaces which will benefit buyers and providers.
He has sought collaborations with WHEDA (Wisconsin Housing Economic Development Authority), the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), Vetransfer, and the City of Milwaukee Department of Development to bring this idea to fruition. He is looking to start this program in the 30th Street corridor of Milwaukee, and Menomonee Valley.
Nimrod’s ties to Wisconsin run deep; he mentors young men in urban areas, has a fitness program where he instructs exercise programs FREE to participants, is a member of the NRA, Vetransfer & VFW Post 2874. The oldest and only son to his parents, he is an uncle to three boys. An avid runner, he enjoys great wines, baking & cooking, family & friends. He instructs martial arts and hand-to-hand combat, as well, something he shall need in D.C.
