Born and raised in Wisconsin, Michelle Zahn has been a resident of Dodge County for over 42 years. She understands the value of responsibility and hard work andis dedicated to improving her local community. Michelle is the owner and operator of national mail order business, The Soap Lady, and has been active in the local business community, serving as president of the Juneau Chamber of Commerce for four years.
Michelle lives on a farm in Juneau with her husband Jim, a retired dairy farmer and truck driver. They have three grown children and six grandchildren. In addition to serving on the board and as president of the Juneau Chamber of Commerce, Michelle has served on the board of the Beaver Dam Area Arts Association, the Dodgeland Dollars for Scholars Foundation, the Leadership WI Board of Directors, the LW Alumni Council and the chair of the Dodge County Antique Power Club’s Women’s Committee.
Michelle also chaired a committee to preserve an antique schoolhouse by moving it from Jefferson to Burnett where it now houses the women’s display each summer at the Dodge County Antique Power Club’s annual steam show.
