I obtained a master of arts degree from Marquette University in 1987.
I taught composition at Marquette University, first as a teaching assistant, and then as a lecturer, and while teaching, obtained a bachelor of science in nursing.
Eventually, I completed my master of science in nursing, and now, I am a professor of nursing at Rasmussen College, in Blaine, Minnesota.
